With a wave of new subscribers likely coming to Paramount+ in 2026, they have already announced a price increase. The UFC is coming to Paramount, and this week, Paramount already posted its new prices for the new fight fans coming to watch its content. "Paramount+ will raise pricing in the U.S. starting Jan. 15, 2026. The Paramount+ Essential (ad-supported) plan will increase by $1 to $8.99 per month, and the Paramount+ Premium (ad-free) plan will rise by $1 to $13.99 per month. Annual plans will also increase, with the Essential plan moving to $89.99 per year and the Premium plan to $139.99 per year." -Varietyβ Those are the prices you'll be expected to pay in 2026. According to the Chairman and CEO of Paramount SkyDance, David Ellison, βThese changes will fuel continued reinvestment in the user experience and deliver an even stronger slate of programming for our customers in the year ahead and beyond.β They have a $7.7 billion dollar bill to pay to air the UFC after all, so we knew this was coming. If you've been paying attention to the UFC's soon-to-be past broadcast partner, you knew they were going to have to get the money from us somehow. I suppose it's better to do it now than after they rope you in and then keep doing it every year like they did with ESPN. That doesn't mean the pattern won't repeat itself. So, take note as we enter UFC 322 fight week, the last pay-per-view event in Madison Square Garden. And if you're interested in my picks for the event, you can check them out here. Remember, if the Notion template that got you on this list is too much, you can grab the PDF version here. Also, keep in mind I got something easier to use coming for the new year.
