I know it's not the best AI out there, but for fun, I thought I'd ask Grok, Twitter/ π's AI, to make a pick for this weekend's UFC 320 main event. It's not too different than the pick I made. I don't think any of us thinks it goes any differently than the last time. But that's the thing about combat sports. You never know... Here's what Grok came up with when I asked:
β Magomed Ankalaev by decision. The UFC's Draft Kings odds have Ankalaev as a -285 favorite at the time I'm writing this. Alex Pereira is +230. Now, if you remember what I wrote about the Canelo/Crawford match-up, and you happen to be a degenerate gambler, you'll want to pick plus money. Everyone does. If you've taken notes on Pereira, you know he wins by KO/TKO for most of his wins. He's a kickboxer after all, and of course, that would be how he wins coming into MMA. Everyone always has a "puncher's chance." So, what's the plus money on Pereira getting a KO or TKO? +320Again, that's according to the UFC's odds on their website; it's probably better elsewhere. I don't think it happens. I think we get a repeat of the same as last time. However, if you think he can, that's the bet I'd make. Remember: I'm not giving gambling advice, I'm not a professional gambler, but I do take notes on fighters and the fights I watch. If you want the PDF for doing the same, you can grab it here. Otherwise, if you're getting this because you grabbed the Notion template, you can use that too.
