I know these early fight cards might make it hard to follow, but some fresh talent has been emerging in MMA lately that's worth watching. MMA might change the guard faster than any other sport I know. ( I don't know many others LOL) But, the wave of fighters splashing on new platforms has me wondering where they come from, and why don't I know more about them. After the UFC's card in Abu Dhabi yesterday, my friend in the fight business, Nolan King posted the following list of names that should be on your "fighters to watch" list.
Ramazan TemirovTemirov made short work of Steve Erceg yesterday. I had Erceg picked to win, and I thought a smart parlay would have been Erceg and Ankalaev, but I was only half correct. I made the combo pick on Kalshi as I'm trying to learn more about prediction markets, and I should have paid attention to the fluctuating action on the matchup. It should have made me look into Temirov and his now 20 wins and 12 KO wins. You live, and you learn, I guess. Which, if you're into martial arts at all, is all about. Fatima KlineKline is a young lady who was on my radar and did perform as expected. She didn't get a finish, but her performance was dominant against someone hard to put away. She'll likely hold a title in the UFC by the end of this year, or the beginning of next. If she was an underdog in that fight, she definitely will not be in the next.
