Reiner de Ridder (RDR) got back in the win column over the weekend after moving up to light heavyweight, and Gregory Rodrigues is no longer an undercard fighter.

New weight class, new mindset

In a make-or-break fight, de Ridder picked up a win while looking like his old self again. The former ONE Champ, looked good on the scales, good going in, and was emotional with the win.

So, where does he go from here?

He said in post-fight interviews he’d like Paulo Costa, Jiri Prochazka, or Khalil Rountree, Jr. He called these names out with confidence, so 205 might be the right fit for him. But we’ll see; the LHW division is up for grabs, but this is something to take note of (notebook for that right here). RDR could be on the rise again.

ROBOCOP

Gregory Rodrigues won the main event, but it was a hard fight, and his fighting style, especially at that weight, could be a problem for him.

The “Robocop” moniker may be because of his forward movement, but that can’t make for a long career, no matter how tough you are. He’ll jump up in the rankings this week, and his style could be the one to make for a fun fight with Strickland.

Although Khamzat Chimaev sits at number one, his inactivity makes him skippable.

Still, there's something to watch and get excited for in that division now with names like Rodrigues and even Hernandez despite the loss.
