UFC Vegas 111 went down last night, and there were some notable finishes you may want to add to your notes. You can tell the UFC is ready to be done with ESPN, too, because they've been putting more content out on their YouTube channel than letting their soon-to-be no longer broadcasting partner put it behind a paywall. If you want to track future champs and challengers, last night's recent clips and highlights are great to keep notes on in your Fight Night Card Companion. If you missed the event, no worries, the clips are here. Eight Finishes!Everyone loves a finisher. Finishers are the ones who get fast-tracked through the rankings and eventually to title shots. So the UFC putting these together for fans to see after the event is great to watch. When you watch it, the fighters who stand out to you will be the ones whose journey you will follow and learn how they win. Of last night's winners, these are the ones who stood out to me: Christian Leroy Duncan Flowed his reactions to his opponents' attacks into his counterattacks. That's going to make for some great matchups, and the UFC likes fights like this. Chris Padilla Showcased his cardio as a weapon over Ismael Bonfim. The strikes got it done, but he wore him out before then. Uros Medic Probably already on a lot of people's radar, considering his tally of first-round finishes. But he's also got some losses peppered in there, too. Still, recency bias is a thing, and last night's win should count for a lot. Joseph Morales The flyweight division has been one of my favorites for a long time. Fighters like Morales are why, and the way he set up his finish over Matt Schnell, adding win number five to his streak, is a good indicator of where his career is going. You have the UFC's clips and the Notion template to collect these notes. If you prefer doing it with pen and paper, grab the PDF version of the template here.
